Senior Programmatic Media Specialist – Audience & Optimization
INTRODUCTION
The Senior Programmatic Media Specialist – Audience & Optimization will play a key role in building, managing, and optimizing programmatic advertising campaigns across a wide array of demand-side platforms (DSPs). Reporting to the Senior Manager – Audience & Optimization, they will work closely with Client Success and LoKnow’s strategic partners to execute data-driven, high-impact campaigns. With deep expertise across platforms like DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, and others, they will also mentor junior team members and contribute to process development and training resources. This role is both client-facing and directly involved in building, managing and optimizing campaigns.

POSITION OVERVIEW
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the execution and optimization of programmatic media campaigns across platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Xandr, Samsung DSP, Basis, MediaMath, StackAdapt, and others
- Collaborates with Client Success to provide proactive insights, strategic recommendations, and performance updates
- Troubleshoots complex campaign issues and assists in escalated platform or tracking challenge
- Contributes to platform evaluations and tests new DSP capabilities in collaboration with Audience & Optimization leadership
- Sources additional inventory, publishers and partners to work with in the programmatic space
- Participates in creating and maintaining documentation on programmatic best practices
- Mentors junior A&O team members and assists in internal training efforts
- Joins client meetings as needed to support Client Success and build confidence in campaign strategy and performance
- Stays up to date, interprets, analyzes, tests, and advises on industry news, trends and best practices as they evolve.

QUALIFICATIONS
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications, but for the right candidate, we are willing to create a development plan to help you bridge between your existing and required skills.
- 3–5 years of experience in digital media with a focus on programmatic campaign execution
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with multiple DSPs such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Xandr, and others
- Strong knowledge of campaign setup, audience segmentation, bidding strategies, and reporting within DSP environments
- Deep understanding of programmatic media delivery, best practices and optimizations
- Relationships and a strong network in the digital advertising space in your market
- A degree, diploma, or certificate in marketing or digital advertising
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with critical thinking and independent research abilities.
- Demonstrates effective time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Experience with project management tools, Google Drive and Slack is an asset
